Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Luke Cass will be a speaker at the International Institute on White Collar Crime, presented by the American Bar Association’s Criminal Justice Section. The global event takes place June 10 in Paris. 

Cass will take part in a panel discussion on “Business, Human Rights, and the Rule of Law after Russia’s Invasion of Ukraine”. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has led many countries to implement new laws, regulations, and sanctions targeting Russia, Russian entities, and Russia’s political and financial leaders. This panel will assess the evolving legal issues presented by these initiatives, consider their effectiveness, provide practical compliance advice, and consider how to respond to violations.
