Chris Mammen Speaks on “Human Creativity, Generative AI, and Intellectual Property” at Berkeley Center for Law and Technology

Christian Mammen, Managing Partner of Womble Bond Dickinson’s San Francisco office and Co-Founder of the firm’s Artificial Intelligence Practice, recently spoke at the Berkeley Center for Law and Technology as part of the “Tech Tuesdays with BCLT” series.

Mammen’s Feb. 4  presentation discussed, “Human Creativity, Generative AI, and Intellectual Property.”  What is the future of content creators in the age of AI? Will IP laws offer any protection, or will IP laws aid in the replacement of human content creators with their AI counterparts? Using a global perspective, this program analyzed the future of AI content creation and AI-assisted content creation.
