On January 22 in Dallas, Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys Tyler Bridegan, Kyle Hawes, and Bob Hancock were featured presenters at In House Connect’s “Doing Business in Texas in 2026: What In House Counsel Need to Know.” Womble served as the event sponsor.

Bridegan’s session, “Privacy and Cybersecurity Update: Navigating the Wave of Texas Privacy Laws,” summarized recent statutory developments, regulatory trends, and practical implications for companies doing business in Texas. Hawes and Hancock’s session, “Texas Corporate Law Update: Business Code Revisions, Key Court Decisions & Strategic Considerations,” reviewed amendments to the Texas Business Organizations Code, notable court decisions affecting corporate governance and commercial litigation, and strategic takeaways for in house leaders.

The program concluded with a networking reception where attendees connected with peers and speakers.
