Bolsonaro is alleged by police to have received gifts of expensive jewelry, then used his diplomatic status to transport them into the U.S. where his aides sold the items. 
Federal police in Brazil recently accused Bolsonaro of embezzlement, money laundering, and conspiracy related to personal gifts he allegedly received while in office.
