Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Robert Savoie has contributed to a new American Fintech Council white paper titled, “A Call for Clarity: Removing Regulatory Barriers to Healthy Secondary Markets in Consumer Credit”.

The white paper explores uncertainties surrounding state licensing mandates, true lender laws, and litigation over DIDMCA opt-outs, concluding that such factors weaken long-established federal banking principles and create new risks for lenders, investors, and consumers.
