The 2024 Harrity Analytics Top Patent Firms list is a “celebration of those firms that have consistently excelled in securing and protecting intellectual property in the dynamic landscape of U.S. utility patents.” Researchers ranked U.S. firms by the number of utility patents secured in 2023.

By this metric, Womble Bond Dickinson ranked #8 for U.S. original patent filings and #15 overall, having helped clients secure 1,809 utility patents in 2023. Womble also ranked as a Top 20 firm for original patents (non-continuation/divisional).
