Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Patrick Emerson McCormick, CIPP/US, will speak on “Generative AI and Legal Ethics” as part of the Pima County Bar Association’s Business Law Series. The one-hour virtual event takes place Wednesday, March 19.

In this session, McCormick will discuss the ethical implications of generative AI technology and its use by attorneys and businesses. This session will address emerging issues, attorney obligations with regard to client confidentiality, identifying and avoiding AI “hallucinations,” addressing “deepfakes,” and more.
