On April 30, Patrick Strubbe attended a fundraiser for Julia's Community. The “Corks & Community” event took place at The Porter’s House in Charlotte and featured rare wines from Vineyardist Winery. Womble Bond Dickinson was the exclusive sponsor for the event.  

Julia's Community is a non-profit that exists to merge social, educational, medical, mental health, and developmental activities that increase self-determination and self-worth and lead to greater autonomy for persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Founded by Bob and Lori Spence and named for their daughter, Julia, Julia's Community partners with Wingate University to create a "live, learn, and play" community within the university campus. Bob also is the Founder and CEO of firm client Aeromed Group.
