Womble Bond Dickinson Attorney Morris Ellison Earns Coveted CRE (Counselor of Real Estate) Certification

CHARLESTON, SC—Womble Bond Dickinson commercial real estate attorney Morris Ellison has earned the CRE (Counselor of Real Estate) credential. The credential, awarded by The Counselors of Real Estate, recognizes accomplished thought leaders in the real estate industry. Ellison is in particularly rare company as an attorney earning the CRE credential.

Membership in The Counselors of Real Estate is selective and is extended by invitation only.  Fewer than 1,100 real estate professionals currently hold the CRE credential. Members include ranking representatives of real estate consulting, financial, legal and accounting firms as well as leaders of Wall Street, government and academia.

Ellison, who is also a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, represents local, national and international investors, lenders, and real estate developers in the development, financing and disposition of commercial properties and other assets. He has experience in a variety of complex real estate and business related issues including the development of several mixed-use projects, real property tax appeals, entity disputes and structuring and complex foreclosures and workouts.
